Will we ever see proper 56k WP?

We were told at the time of the introduction of the FLEX access beta trial that it'd probably only be for about a week. Well, weeks and weeks down the road, I still have to pay the extra for a decent ping, and most people can't even do that.....

Is there any word on what's going on; any progress to speak of?

I've been asking WP for an update on the present position and their future intentions on kFlex and V90 support for some time on other threads, but they haven't replied.
