i play jedi knight.
pings recently on the rapid play channel have recently gone down the drain.
many (very good) players have left wireplay becasue of this.
if you want to keep wireplay successful, you really need to sort out these problems.

its not surprising WP is quickly becoming a huge pile of steaming elephant crap.

there is no question.
there is a point.
that point is that rapid play pings have apalling; about the same as on the internet. you need to sort this out. check the JK message board for more, in Stamper's thread 'FAO JKers and wireplay'.

if you are a techie, it's no surprise that rapid play is in the state it is.

Hmmm, if you leap to conclussions like that it's no surprise you haven't read the half dozen other threads about the subject in other places. Why start another one? I'm an ex club captain is all. You angrily demanded a reponse to your message which a/. had no question, just a rant, and b/. is already being covered in far more depth elsewhere. I don't know much about how they work at Wireplay, but I'm sure they have too much to do to repeat the same statements in threads started by people who don't bother reading the existing threads - that's MY point. So nher!

the thing is that wireplay bods have 'not noticed a significant increase in lag on the rapid play channel' (the words of Hawkboss)
now, the JK final, in which there were 2 players, had lag of 12 seconds.
