hehe... no sooner have I replied in the other thread you've started one here :). We have 50 systems available for use during the i4 event, and they should be as good if not better than the ones we had at i4 (which utterly 0wned :)).

The cost of using a PC for the whole 4 days, including your entry to the event is £70 for i5. That's a nominal £10 for the hire on top of the 4-day entry price. Monitors are a fiver for the 4 days.

Cheers,

Oh,

Are all the games pre-installed, or do I have to bring my own HLCS/Q3/UT?

Good question.

You need to bring your own games. The machine will be installed with a base Win98 install with all 3d drivers, etc. configured, but no games.

To reserve an IBM machine/monitor email enquiries@multiplay.co.uk and ask them. The only stipulation is that you are coming for the full 4 days of i5, and then there's the £10 fee for the hire of the machine (or £5 for a monitor).

I had one of the IBM's at i4 - trust Wizzo here, they 0wn.

Only one problem - they don't have joystick gameports - not a prob if you aren't using a joystick or if you have a USB stick.

Yeah, not used one of the rental PC's but they do look a bit good. Nice big flatscreen monitors and look fairly nippy too.
