Well I've just about recovered physically from the multiplayer madness that was i4 last weekend. The sleep bit is gonna take a while tho :). Gestalt over at Eurogamer has been burning the midnight oil to bring a full report at the URL below:

http://www.eurogamer.net/features.php3?name=i4

With i4 over we now turn our attention to the huge 750 player i5 event, being held at Newbury Racecourse over 25-28 August. The new venue is truly awesome, with masses of space in plush surroundings (pics to follow). This event is already proving extremely popular, with over 100 people signed up with 3 months to go! Since i4 we have received over 50 bookings in the space of a day! Looks like this baby's gonna be well oversubscribed so browse on over to the following page to signup and nab a seat while you can:

Expect to see more details emerging on i5 over the next week or so, as we all return from sleep recovery sessions and get down to it :).

Cheers,

A big RAH to u lot at multiplay

My first lan party and it was great fun, despite your attempts to get us in the drinking tournament :p

Just 1 plea with you though..

Can you stop the bar from calling out 'Pizzas for Joe & Matt' sooooo loud. It was doing my head in

yes, definitly - i4 did infact rock!

but one thing that was VERY anoying to me was the fact that the lights in the building, well downstairs at least were way too bright...the best tim was at night when they were everso slightly dimmed, but in daytime i got loadsa reflections on my screen and i couldnt see what i was doing...PLEASE turn them down at i5?

BTW: i will be going if i have any money whatsoever left from glastonbury :)
