all card manufacturer's drivers are, to a lesser or greater extent, based on Nvidia's own Reference 'Detonator' drivers. They simply add their own featureset and tweak them a wee bit.
That said, i've always found the Nvidia drivers to be the best, i'm still running the only official Dets available from www.nvidia.com (http://www.nvidia.com) v3.68, and they're sound.
HOWEVER, there are 'leaked beta' drivers(v5.xx) available from the likes of www.reactorcritical.com (http://www.reactorcritical.com) or www.3dchipset.com (http://www.3dchipset.com) , these are basically intended for the forthcoming GeForce2 and support S3 texture compression and FSAA, and they will work with your Geforce SDR, but they are still Betas-so bear that in mind.... http://forums.gameplay.com/ubb/wink-anim.gif
