Is it worth it?

I'm thinkin' of upgrading my voodoo3, but I want to know is it going to be worth it?
What I mean is are the current crop of cards so much better that its going to be worth me paying out 250 spondoolies, or am I going to see very little in the way of "real" performance increase over my old card.Bear in mind that I've only got a celery 300 overclocked to 412mhz, will this affect it? and if it does will I have to pay out another 150 sovs on top for a new processor?
At the moment I'm erring on the side of wait for something truly special to come out, but if the gf2 or v5 are that good then my monies spent already!
Please could you leave relevant comments and experiences of these cards, cheers!

If you've only got a celery 300, then save your dosh!! :)

You can forget about the voodoo5 as it needs a monster of a processor just to do average frame rates.

I would go for a Geforce 1 DDR if I were you. It should drop in price soon and it's not that much slower than the new Geforce 2 and it's quicker than the V5. A better match to your processor anyway. And yes you will notice a big difference. Especially in games like Soldier of Fortune.

If you change your processor I expect you'll need to change your RAM as well.
