As some of u may know (prolly not tho :p ) i have recently got a geuillemot geforce sdr..................well all is going well, i had the 3.84 (i think) detonator drivers installed then my friend recommended the 5.14 (dunno but newest 1ns neway :) ) but this what happens...........i loaded up HL CS to test the new drivers and i (just to see highest FPS) looked at the sky.....the FPS shot to 70 (highest on hl i think) and then suddenly shot back down to 30.2 exactly and stayed there....then WHENEVER i moved my fps fluctuauted as it does and then went back to a constant rate of 30.2....WTF i thought, then i remembered the knowlegeable ppl here http://forums.gameplay.com/ubb/teeth.gif elp plz.......

Erm....could this be to do with your fps_modem settings??
type fps_modem into the consol if it reads 30 then HL is capping your frame rate at 30 fps.
Try fps_modem 0, or other variations.

Nah it isn't the modem fps thang cos i know that b4....had it set 2 35 in config file but now changed it to about 100 (just in case :D )
