MMMmm, people putting me off!

Hi, I also bought a Geforce Pro and the only problem I get is the computer rebooting of its own accord - but this is a rarity and I put it down to a combination of the 230W PSU and ancient 333 PII running at 416MHZ :)

I've not regreted stepping up form a V2, the Geforce is an awesome card.

I was considering moving away from 3DFX and buying a GeForce DDR or GeForce2, but look the top 6 posts/threads (at the time of posting) are about various problems with the GeForce :eek:

I bought a ge-force pro 6 months back and for about two weeks i had nothing but problems, but reading the posts like the ones below helped me sort them all out and now i would not use any other cards (other than gf2!)
This is an excellent product but it seems tempramental on old athlon mobos or non bx mobos, but if you have a fairly recent one, Id defo say go for it.

Thanks for the info peeps, I'll definitly go GeForce, whether it be the DDR (hoping the prices will drop) or the GeForce 2 (if the prices of theoriginals don't drop)

You would do better waiting a little while, so peeps can sort out their problems, so then if you get a geforce 2 and have problems, they can tell you how to fix it.

took me some time but i stuck at it through the early hours and now boy this card is fast have no problems just a little tweek here and there and now it works finebench mark score 5468 with 3d mark 2000 on an atlon 750 could be better but im happy it all works only game have probs with is rouge spear
