Lo all,
I am due to have a birthday soon ("Happy Birthday Keith") and I am hoping that with the money received in lieu of pressies (I'm too old for toys now - 44).
It now brings me to ask you boffins out there to scratch your head and advise me on the best cam around for this.
I am aware that I shall need to buy a USB card so a USB camera is needed.
Main criteria:-
Good resolutions (what is the Industry standard)
Focussing ability
Portability (ie move around the desk and extension cables)
Price (of course - preferably free p&P or the like)
The USB card - which is the best one to have
Phew - after all that I should be able to enjoy my cake and pop!
Thanks for reading this
Keith
Recommendations given to me

U may think that I've got ulterior motives and u are not that wrong but there are other use such as family video conferencing!
Do the cams come with ample length of leads or are they obtainable as cables supples in many of the Computer sections on the net?
Still nothing about a cool webcam - the one that i have seen to be the best is the Phillips Funny Feet types - u lot agree?
