geforce 1 ddr problems need help :(

It all installs fine but after between 30 secs and 1 min the screen goes black then returns messed up and the pc refuses to respond :(

any ideas as to how to fix this or suggestions would be very useful

Could be a conflict with your mobo chipset.

I had probs like this with the TNT2U and my Intel LX440 chipset on my P2 mobo.
