if you can use 2 graphics cards at once.

The thing is I have just bought a V3 2000 PCI cause i have a stoopid mobo with no agp slots. I have an ATI rage pro turbo hard wired on the mobo which is AGP but since i have installed the voodoo i have just disabled the ATI one. Is there anything i can do to make some use of it cause it seems such a waste of a lil chip?

Using either 98se* or Win2k you can make use of both chips but only in the sense of a dual screen set-up and then most games won't make use of it if any, having the two cards with the two drivers installed really messes the os up and isn't really practical. I had a friend who used to have two hardware profiles with a card enabled and the other disabled in 98 but it was extremely messy and not very practical so in the end he dumped one.

I think your better off just using the v3, no 32bit colour but would be more compatible with most games out there and not bad at 2d desktop, I used to have one http://forums.gameplay.com/ubb/teeth.gif

*98 first edition had a messy dual screen implementation and was better in 98se but if you've been using windows update since release you should be ok.

If you can get 2 proper voodoo2 chips, you can 'SLI' them which gives you double memory, but for todays standards, its not worth it.
