In my attempt to o/c my PII 350 I have considered another approach. Ok so, If I was to say purchase a Celeron 566 or whatever and a Socket370-Slot1 converter would it be considerably better than my current setup? Or should I sod this mobo and get a new mobo and say a AMD K6 II ? What sort of prices are these things gonna set me back @ the ol puter fairz? What do U suggest???????!

I should also add that hi speed gaming PC int wot i want. I just want somfin that dont slow me down when peruzing round Windows e.t.c! 2 of me m8s just got K6 II 500's and they seem more than adequate!

The new celeron A's can be overclocked by about 50%, however it would be best to get a new BX mobo as it will let you play around with core voltages, and ram timings.
533>800 £75
566>850 £90(may fall short of 850?)
I would go for the 533 as its more likely to be successfull :)
