I have a P11 300 and would like some advice on upgrading graphics card to Ge-force 256 Pro. Would this be ok or would I have to upgrade processer as well
Thanks

I am no expert at all but I think you processor may JUST ABOUT handle it. Anything under that spec and I would say no no no! But you might get away with it. I seem to recall seeing somewhere that a P2.300 was the minimum recommended spec for that card so...?
Well I bought the Elsa Erazor X yesterday, and I have a P2-300/64mbs Ram/Win2K (although getting an athlon 700 today http://forums.gameplay.com/ubb/teeth.gif) and it runs pretty well.
It does give a performance boost of about 30% over the V3 3500TV (In Q3) so well recommended IMO.
:)

I have a P2B asus m'b pcb 1.04 (BX AGP 1.0)
upgraded from a P2 333 to a P3 550 and
replaced my V2 12mb with a Prophet DDR.
I was warned about incompatibilities but it works really well. Although I have occasional lockups in games. I don't know whether this is driver probs or probs with my mobo...
