ive just got a cdrw drive and it came with adaptec easy cd creator v3.5, now version 3.5 doesnt support mp3's.
i know version 4 does but that costs £50, so does anyone know of a cheaper alternative?
or *cough* where i could *cough* get the version 4 one free from a warez site or summat *cough*
if you have an URL for warez please icq me with it coz the moderaters will probably delete the URL if you post it up here.
cheers

You could download IMHO the best CD creation software Nero from www.softseek.com (http://www.softseek.com)

Or you could convert the MP3's to .wav, then burn 'em to the CD, as converting them to .wav is what the creator software has to do anyway?

do u want to burn them to listen on a cd player ?
if u do then they will be converted to .wav's
if u just want to have the mp3 files on the cdr then u should be able to just burn them as a windows file system disc and run the files off the disc through your pc
that way u can put hundreds of songs on one cd :p
ive rteconmended audiocdmp3 aas the burner

how do i convert the mp3's to .wav?
goto http://www.ahead.de and download a copy of Nero m8. That does all you want and more, for example decoding MP3s and bunging them straight onto CD for use in a standard CD player. Hope this helps :)

If you have Winamp you can convert them mp3s to wav using that....select a different output plugin, the Disk Writer plugin is the one you want (remember to turn off any EQ you've got set up in Winamp). Pick it, pickm a directory to save your wavs to (need about 750MB free for a full CD) then press play.
Rememebr to switch the plugin back when you want to use it normally again.
I use MusicMatch Jukebox for all my MP3 gubbins. It has a CD burning feature built into it which burns Audio CD's directly from MP3's, dead smooth recording's (ie no clicks) at x4 everytime! Well recommended!
And it's shareware!
