So if you don't have an AGP slot I assume your PC is a it on the old side? if so don't waste your money on te best/fastest = most expensive graphic card as your graphic will be crap due to the nice new fast card waiting for your CPU to draw the triangles for it to fill

Unless its an integrated graphics jobby..the processor might not be all that bad. :)

That's alright. I'd go for a Geforce 2 PCI card. They are meant to be coming out but I haven't seen any yet.

It's a big drop down to the next fastest PCI card but that would be a TNT2 or a voodoo3. Alternatively you could wait for one of the new voodoos, although they need a seriously fast processor to get anything out of them.

hey mate, a voodoo2 is cool cool cool...what about all those fond memories that you will loose if you get rid of it?? see...you have no realistic choice but to keep it. You could get a new one but then you'le lose your old buddy. my advice - just don't do it, it's evil!

A friend of mine has a V3 PCi and he loves it, running on his AMD-200. There is a GeForce PCi version coming out though which might be worth the wait.

HI puppy,
Ok m8 this what I done to a friends P.C, I got him a Voodoo3 2000 PCI(£70 or less), stuck a fan on the heatsink and juice that baby up(143mhz to 166mhz). Now you are at the speed of a Voodoo 3000. This has being running stable for over 3 months. I myself have a Voodoo3 2000 AGP in my second P.C, clock at 170mhz.(Use for LAN gaming, lasting up to 8 hours....STABLE).

You could get a Voodoo 3000 and clock it to the speeds of a 3500(183mhz and above, remember you need cooling, ect. Fans, fans, fans) I've four on my slot one 333mhz celeron and it's clock to 500mhz, running stable for seven months now.

Now you need to get an overclocking tool and you get that from WWW.3dfiles.com/utility/ (http://WWW.3dfiles.com/utility/) and look out for Voodoo 3 Overclocker. This tool will be place in your 3dfx Voodoo Properties. Oh by the way the fan I use is an old 486 fan, and is attach by using 4 screws.
