Starcraft & Freespace 1 & 2

Any chance of these games being added in the future ?????

Starcraft is definately as good or even better than command and conquer and the freespace games are the best 3d space combat games on the PC at the moment, also the online servers for the freespace games have terrible lag

Starcraft is tied into Battlenet, while Freespace 2 - although great and server based is tied into PXO or some siliar named service.

This makes it difficult for us to support.

I understand the I-War argument, but I do slightly fall on the freespace side myself - but you do need a good manchine to run it well.

I've not had a full copy of the latest I-war game, but the demo I saw at E3/ECTS was v. good

I've had a look at I-War (now called Independence War - thanks for confusing me guys)
Apparently thia has NO multiplayer aspect to it at all so we won't be having anything to do with it.

so that means i still have to play with the yanks on Freespace 2
guess those beam cannons will have to be kept to single player (seriously though, the lag is absolutley crap over there)

Fear not, I've come up with a possible solution to the Freespace 2 problem, and have mailed Athanateus with a request to forward it to the right people, as the e-mail form on the Gameplay site is screwed up... anyway, as far as I know it'll work... PXO is not servers at all, you see, it's just a connection portal to the servers, which can be standalone or player hosted, but usually have nothing at all to do with PXO.

Cool, it would be nice to be able to play Freespace 2 on Wireplay instead of trying, and I mean TRYING to play it with yanks, its just too laggy to hit much.
