Will Wireplay 3 run along side 2.?? or will it over write when we download on Monday??

It runs totally independantly of Wireplay 2.

When the final WP3 ships you will be able to remove Wireplay 2 through the normal Add/Remove programs method.

Well spotted that man!

For server-based games you'll see all the people in the servers as you do in WireView2 and be able to just launch the game and join it.

For peer-peer games, where you need to create a proposal and have people join it - unfortunately you'll only see people using WP3.

We couldn't afford the time to get the two systems to interwork. The important thing is to get WP3 up to scratch in terms of features and stability so we can migrate everyone across and switch off WP2.

I suspect that for the first part of the beta the proposals areas are going to be a little empty and you will want to go back to using WP2 for your regular games, unless you agree with your friends to meet in WP3.
