I dl'ed wp3 setup from ftp dir (soz if I wasn't meant to)..it was
a whole 404Kb big(isn't it gonna be 500Kb or a bit more)....i installed it and I have a nice icon in my bottom right start up bar but it doesnt do anything please tell me I have dl'ed the wrong thing in my big eagerness to play with our new toy first...I know it's the wrong thing....just hoping it was and now I hope not as it doesn't work....

No you got the wrong thing - that will be a very old build that won't work.
