I think it would be a good idea for the for WIREPLAY3 to have the option to pause the Task Scheduler and other none essential background tasks, this would free 2 or 3% of your System Resources.
I have used Applications that do this but I havent seen one since WIN98

Another idea is to have a Favorites and a History of Games Last Played folder or page which could show you the results at the end of each game or map change(maybe not).

I have more ideas but I will have alook at BETA3 before I post anymore.

Oooh I like that one.

'seek and suspend Win98' - cool http://www.gameplayerz.com/ubb/wink.gif

I bet we would get into trouble with something that shouldn't be suspended (like network I/O tasks!) but still worth looking at though - cheers.

Maybe you could get around any LEGAL stuff by making them user options with a default to standard WINDOWS config.

Maybe if we ever get time to getting a Linux port done, we can have a Wireplay Linux release (probably based on Debian) pre-configured for the best setup for gaming.

At least then we can tweak the whole OS to get best use of resources.

This is just a pipe dream though (where the heck does that expression come from?)

I belive it was first used by city planners while working on sewage systems.
