Chat Room question

Does the client log you out of the chat room when you enter a game?

I only ask this because people might think you are ignoring them if they send a message http://www.gameplayerz.com/ubb/smile.gif.

Finally does the client 'go to sleep' and take no bandwidth while u are playing?

When you start a game the main WP3 client shuts down and you are left with the little
wp3 thingy in the system tray. This means that, yes, you are logged out of chat when you enter and that all the resources used by the client are freed. So, no bandwith used.

ok so tell me how the chat room is gonna handle the amount of people playing on a busy night........ and and also if people r going to be able to log on to wp3 without the whole gameplaying community knowing about it...... not a very good idea when you r at the top of a ladder, know what i mean?

a valid point - we will be reviewing the navigational model later this week. Probably after the next beta.

Top priority is getting peer-peer games working.

At the moment we are pencilling in Wednesday as a target for the 'Shaggy' release. Look for announcements on this forum.
