Forums and chat

At the moment we can chat while in the main section http://www.gameplayerz.com/ubb/smile.gif and the game rooms http://www.gameplayerz.com/ubb/smile.gif
Can we please have chat rooms on the forum pages? It would save us using gooey etc. (We did this a while back on the AA board and I reckon it would have been more popular if it hadn't involved a third-party download)

Might ease pressure on the gamepros :wink: as we(players) can all help each other in real time and any newbies to the games would be able to talk to people who play the game all the time.

OOh I think I've found a bug in Forums?
When I post a new topic or reply to another. My delete key doesn't work, if I want to delete something I have to go past the offending character and Backspace it http://www.gameplayerz.com/ubb/frown.gif Small thing but a tad annoying

Also I think someone has already mentioned 'Back' and 'Forward' buttons in the forums(Very good and definately needed) What about a refresh button as well? I just clicked on a message I looked at earlier(Someone else has now replied) but the client just shows the same page I looked at earlier(From history?)

Yes - I want to add a toolbar to the top of the frame where we show HTML.

I was thinking of - back, forward, refresh, popout to full IE window, stop.

Also thinking about having a status bar as well showing the URL as you hover over a link etc..

basically minimal IE toolbars.

Don't think we need an address bar in their, you can pop out the browser if you want to completely change the URL.

I was also thinking about making a spinning Wireplay logo where it currently says 'Shop at Gameplay' in the top left of the window, so we can show activity when you download, refresh etc..

So much to do, so little time...

Yes, I think an icon to indicate activity would be very helpful, as then it would be easier to determine whether there is a problem with ones connection or whether the client has gone west.

What about chatting when at the forums in WP3? or the thing with the delete key? Soz to keep pushing the forums bit but the community is what keeps me coming back to Wireplay and not to the zone etc. and I really like the fact that I can get to the forums from within WP3
