Its the follow up to Apache V Havoc...
Its a cool Helo Sim where if u have both games installed you can use the helos and campaigns, missions from Apache V Havoc and play them in Comanche V Hokum...It is made by Razorworks and Empire and has just been released here in the UK,but is not due for release in the US for about a month or so.....
From what i have seen and played it is far superior to Microprose's Gunship and thats not just my views either,go to combatsim.com and go to the forum about Gunship,it speaks for its self.

Would be nice to see a serious sim on Wireplay at last, I have Apache Havoc and considering Commanche Hokum as it connects with Apache Havoc giving you a choice of four rides. If Wireplay supported it that would be a huge bonus, I believe also that Commache Hokum has a dedicated server option from what I've read on the net and newsgroups about it. Also I remember some time ago the Wireplay testing team mentioned Flanker 2 as a possibility..just curious as I'm downloading the v2.02 patch (all 17MB!) whether it will run over Wireplay? has this also been tested? Thanks in advance

Just remebered, if Commanche Hokum does work and also Apache Havoc (as they connect together) Apache Havoc has been out on budget for a while and well worth £9.99 of anyones money!

Can someone provide me with some links for info for Comanche v Hokum - I can't find anything on the developers/publishers sites
As for Flanker 2 - we have tested this - but before we started keeping propoer records - I'll get someone to have another look.

http://www.empire.co.uk/ - Empire the publishers, follow the 'Flight' link in the left frame.
http://www.razorworks.com/ - The Game developers, has'nt been updated for a while but I'm sure there will be links to contact the team.

Hope this helps

Been playing flight-sims for about 16-17 years since Gunship on the Spectrum, main reason for buying a PC was Falcon was much better on the PC than my Amiga and Atari ST :) and been playing a multitude of sims ever since.

On the subject of Helicopter sims is there any chance of getting Gunship! (the exclamation is part of the title) as it looks like haveing some cool mplayer ideas like coop pilot/gunner duties and stuff but the best bit looks like it's being compatable with a new tank game M1A3 Abrams or something that is due soon so you can have a proper big land/air online war type thing! both games are to be published by Hasbro interactive (although they are not the my favourite company at the mo with the way they have treated mech3!) and Hasbro are generally good at letting their games be open to most services.
