When ever i try to start wp 3 now all i get is a webapge with tiny little text saying that wp3 beta is now out and to dl it!!!! what is happening? why am i not getting the proper loggin screen? also when this happens the system tray ican vanishes please help me!!!!

I'm getting the same problem too. Cant connect to WP at all.

I have i have been using it for about a week and suddenly it stops working! i did dl and install the file that was on the webpage but it made no difference!!!

download it again, re-install and everything works fine then :p

Just to explain...

The webpage appeared because we released a newer version of the client. There should be a link on the page to the new download.

What happens is, we tell the server there's a new client version and when people try and connect the client tells the server what version it is. If it's an old version the server sends the user to the upgrade page.
