Can't connect to any servers in wp3 :(

A little more information would help...

Can you see the server lists?
Do you get an error message?
Does the game launch?
Can you get into the Wireplay 3 client?

Wp3 launches, all the server lists are visable, and the game launches normally. It just says
e.g. Connecting to 212.140.216.18:27030
retrying 212.140.216.18:27030
retrying 212.140.216.18:27030
retrying 212.140.216.18:27030
connection failed after 4 retrys

It doesn't authenticate with the won servers, the action HL one is fine, it authenticates and connects but the others just don't work (TFC, CS). Also it's not just HL I noticed that the Quake3A demo also won't connect to the server.

I know this wont help but, I've just tried myself and they work okay.

I'll have a word with some of the people around here and see if they know...

Are you trying to access open play servers or power play servers ? , and using what dialup ?

remember you cannot use any isp to access power play servers at the moment, you still have to use wireplay direct or bt internet.

I've tried both bti and callnet, i've just done a complete reinstall cos of some other probs so lets see how this goes :)

Well you shouldnt be able to on callnet, but you should be able to on bt internet (but seeing how poor that has been recently you still probably wont :) )

Just in case you don'y know there's a new number for CallNet 08081050000 a lot better for surfing and gaming on Wireplay :)
