Allegiance

As was posted earlier by WPS, Allegiance was temporarily taken offline and transferred over to Win2k for stability and security reasons.

It's passed the 1st test (it runs) but we need some feedback regarding the stability and setup of the server itself, so if anyone with Allegiance could pop into the Open Free games arena and try it to see what its like under a heavy load...

Due to a lack of any method for ppl to play on this server it might be hard to get together a decent squad for a stress test. Maybe posting something on the general forum may bring in some better results.. either that or get velvet to set up a forum.

O.k where is this server and how do i find it.

I went to play on it earlier but couldn't find a Wp server listed in the free games

Perhaps it's gone down - if the netfeed in the office stutters, the connection gets lost - it's not all that resilient a system really - requires a constant connection to MS.

I would have though WHIP - DEL707 would have been more appropriate..

i reacon that anyone playing allegiance call themselves wp-<nickname> or sommit so we know whos from ere..we could then see how many of us are around at any one time and if possible orgainse sommit on the fly..as it were..

i guess this could even work on any none wireplay server :)

just an idea.
