but i am here to kinda offer a thought.
i appreciate that war2 is now not one of the top priotaty games, and thus probably doesnt and wont get the attention or support that other games do, but for the new wp3, rather than just improve the lag, can i suggest that wireplay supports the battle net edition. In the war2 forum many people have been saying even with improved lag, they wont come totally back to wp because the orginal version of the game isnt as good as the new version.
The new version supports many new features that it could be considered an addon similar to ctf or tfc etc. Bnet does have the option of playing with ordinary networks, but doesnt work with wp2 at all at the moment. It your technical bods could change this somehow, the war2 community would all but entirely come back to wp.
This is partialy due to the fact that battle.net itself is racked with hackers/nazi extremist clans/ and tactics that were considered unacceptable on wp. Most people go over to bnet coz at the moment wp is unacceptable.
