CGI.......

Ive just seen that wireplay are now offering web space to clan sites......will they let you use CGI?

I spose I should Email wireplay directly but u never know i spose some1 might know.

From what I gather they will allow you 5meg of space where they will put the zipped webpage you send.

If this webpage has an external CGI message board (for example from http://www.server.com/) in an internal frame, I cant see there being a problem.

just wondering whether wireplay will let people use the UBB on the sites they host, so that clans or the like can use this message board for a private forum site coz its the best ive seen.

It's standard webspace I'm afraid. No cgi support or other scripting stuff - that kind of stuff could bring our webserver to its knees. http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif

Eventually we hope to be able to offer some kind of "premium" service for bigger sites that require scripting etc. Lots of new hardware required for that though...
