Can anyone help?
I have got a rockwell 56k V.90 and i get a connection speed of around 45,000bps.
Is there any way or any configuration that will help me improve this?

I agree with Foxmeister, you probably don't really want to connect much faster than that anyway. Apart from new V.90 code (i.e. better compatability between your modem and WP's), the only other way to regularly improve it would be to move next door to a phone exchange ! Probably an expensive option....

For Wireplay this is fine. If you connect any faster than this you will probably suffer packet loss, lockups etc...

Not really - exchanges are usually in pretty sh*tty parts of town !
