I have a USR/3Com faxmodem and here are my settings they give me a ping in Q2 of about 125 - 135, here goes http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/wink.gif
Flow control ON with hardware
Error correction OFF
Use FIFO buffers ticked
Both buffers to the maximum
Extra settings AT&N31 (this limits connection to 46666, very little packet loss)
Maxmim speed setting to 115200 (on port settings aswell)
Enable software compression ON (under server types ta http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/stare.gif
TCP/IP only ticked
Use IP header compression ON
These settings dont work for everybody a lot depends on your spec eg video card and so on but I hope this helps somebody. Please remember to make a note of all your settings BEFORE you make any changes just in case you need to change any of them back again. http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/wink.gif
