Heh,
right, stand up straight, feet together (no bull**** about your balls being to big for you to get your feet together please), pick up left foot, move it about 30 inches to the front and put it down, move right foot next to it, voila, you have just sorted out you PACE http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif
but seriously, I'd have to suspect that somewhere in the client config, there's something that's limiting your connection to 31,200. The easy way to test this would be to goto my computer->dial up networking folder and double clicking on the Wireplay Direct DUN and seeing what speed you connect at there, if it's higher than 31,200 then it's the client that's shagging you connection.
Once connected, you can use qview to view the QW servers, but, if they appear greyed out, then the qview is probably looking at the wrong server IP's, I think the one you need looks at 193.113.158.15:xxxxx, if you need a copy let me know and I'll email one to you, alternatively, when you've connected, you can start the client and when it says "you are already connected, close current connection and re-dial ?" say no and it should take you in that way as usual. If the DUN method still connects you at 31,200, then I'd have to guess that somewhere in the DUN the connect speed is being limited.
If that isn't the case, then goto the Pace site and get the latest drivers (not v.90 firmware) for the modem and install them, to make sure you've updated I always delete the modem from the my->computer properties section and let the PC re-detect the modem, that way you can be sure it's loading the latest drivers.
If you're still having problems, create a DUN and copy the phone number from the Wireplay Direct DUN add any old username and try that, you don't need a password for this at all http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif
If you are still having problems, let us know and we'll see what else we can do to help ... a shotgun sounds like a good idea http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/tongue.gif
hope this helps a bit
