Hope someone can help...

I've recently got myself one o' them there ISDN adapters on BT Homehighway. Ok, all well and good. Works fine, connects, etc. Can browse, surf, etc with no problems. But when it comes to playing Quake2.... !!!! Troubles abundant.

Basically, it disconnects me after about 10 mins of playing, and it kicks me off my connection (I have to disconnect and reconnect to the ISP) -- Anyone have ANY idea what could cause this? It never times out apart from when I try and play Q2, and then it happens very suddenly after about 5/10 mins. And, its really, REALLY annoying.

Thx in advance http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/shades.gif

Check your moden timeout settings.

It sounds as though the isdn adapter is timing out after (what it thinks) no traffic has gone over the adapter.

Open Control Panel, modems and select your modem (usually ISDN Internet (PPP over ISDN)), click properties and select the connection tab, check the 'Disconnect a call if idle for more than xxmins'.

Also check your dialup networking settings for the same timeout.
