I'm 13 and have jsut started up a web design business so I am looking for a bit of practise so if your clan wants a website designed i might just do it for you. I also do graphics. My website is- http://www.omniq.co.uk

Oh, I see.
The Clan gets a free website, you get a site in your portfolio.
Sorry.

Get a portfolio up m8, Peps need to see you're work, no offence (im only 15) but you shouldnt have mentioned being 13 i think, peps are very stereotypist.
Considering you are promoting yourself perhaps you should have proof-read it, potential employers probably won't want poor spelling and sloppy grammar.
Also, perhaps you should link the style sheet rather than embedding it, this will save time and effort later.

I wasn't really looking for any paying ,professional jobs yet. I was just offering my services to any clans or clubs needing a website. I only mentioned my age so if anyone didn't want a 13 (nearly 14) year old making their website then they didn't need to waste their time e-mailing me and then finding out i was 13.

Look m8, well done on being enterprising an all but really, looking at ure website, i dont think you should be charging those prices. No offence but its not exactly proffesional quality, id make clan web sites for free if anyone wants em. Again no offence but its a bit pricey for that kind of quality.
As a matter of interest, what programs do u use? Just to show that i am willing to say, i use the following;
FP2K
Notepad
PSP
Web 3D
3D Studio Max
Visual J
and one or two online resources like javascrpits.com
I am just interested to see what other people use.

Notepad, photoshop and Fireworks
Notepad because its the fastest loading editor and because it doesnt touch my code (I have bits of ASP, and DHTML, SSI, etc). And whatever mood I'm in deciedes between Photoshop (only ver. 4 http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/frown.gif) and Fireworks.

Hi,
I find ASP is one of the most useful things I've learnt for the web so far...means that updating a site (like news and stuff) is like posting a message on this board!!

Arachnophobia tutorials... Just had a quick glance at them, didn't know about the automatic creation of lists out of basic text. Gonna have to read more of the help files.
I digress, the answer to your question microboft is yeah. Teaches you all the basics with examples and also some of the advanced stuff, although that is ususally referenced to other sites for more detailed explanations.
