Help me someone!!!

i have a 56k modem (it's called MDP3858-E)
but i always connect at around 42k...
this is really bugging me as i'm getting dismal pings....
does anybody know what could help me???

Hi dude,
you don't know me but i'm here to save you from bad Halflife Pings. See my
web site for a config file which greatly reduces your ping time in HL and TFC.

its so good even Halflife.net has it in there download section, albeit an
older version but the strange thing is its the only one of its kind?, and
lots of people are using it. If you like it and it helps please email and
let me know and pass it on to your friends.

P.S. you MUST read the instructions for installation and what the newly
bound keys do! (i.e. netgraph & latency settings)

thanks for the config...
it has improved my pings slightly on wp...
but i really need help to speed up my modem...
it's a rockwell if that sheds some light

thats an aztech modem if you go to their web site (sorry i havent got the address im at work at the moment) and download the latest drivers it should help....i consistently get pings under 200 on wireplay.....
