with bt internet 0800 you can access WP anyway so what exactly is the problem?

the problem is that every one that use's BT
internets 0800 at weekends complains about lag, something i never get with wp direct, so there http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif

If they were going to do anything like that they should have a seperate dial up number, using different modem banks and should charge 30-40 quid a month allowing u free off peak connetions and limit the number of subscribers.

But this ain't gonna happen and the phone companies are going to bring in a system like this that works in the same was as friends and family, i.e. you choose the number to where u want the free calls.
