For some strange reason I am connecting at 115,000bps with a standard modem on wp direct, and on a normal internet connection i connect at 57,000bps Cable and Wireless being the ISP. Is the connection speeds actually correct or is there something wrong and should i be experience packet loss which I heard can happen if u connect at higher than 50, with a normal modem. BTW what is packet loss? Plz some1 help me
alot of 'puters show 1152000.
usally this is not your true connection speed
there are a couple of init strings that u can add that will show your true speed.
try putting in W2 in your advanced settings, it might work m8.
best of luck
i personnely ended up changing to a supraexpress modem (diamond),wich is very fast and seems to be very stable,
