Is my PC overheating?

My machine has really slowed down today.
Could it be the heat?
It's a new PC:
P3 550 256 ram
2 x V2 sli 1 agp rage fury 32mb
1 ide hdd 1scsi hdd
1 cdrom 1 cdrw cd
2 other pc cards
Only 1 fan (power supply)
Room temp 27.3c
Any ideas?

With that amount of stuff its a distinct possibility. Take the cover off and put your hand near the processor and video card processor (be careful). Only one fan sounds way too low for all that stuff. I would recomend buying a fan card...are you sure there isnt a fan on your processors heat sink? If there isnt you really should get one very quickly (and not use your computer too much until you get one).

Apparently yesterday was hotter than in Barbados...today doesnt feel much cooler either...so hot
