first on your webbie how hav u spelled the image source tag above u did it scr should be src?
also in your webbie when u uploaded it via ftp did u put it in another directory ie your page in one folder and your piccie in another, for example i normally put my images in an image folder so this would make my tag look like this:-
<img src="/images/thename.gif">
hope this makes sense and may make your page work
an example of linking to an image in the same directory as the html file would be
<img src="image.jpg">
did you actually upload the picture as well as the site? Its not enough just to paste the picture in using frontpage or dreamweaver or whatever, it actually has to be uploaded separately too.

ok according to your website host the image isnt available so its either a case of u havent uploaded the image or u've put the image in another folder just double check if your image is in another folder proceed digger.jpg with /name of the folder/ and dont put your webbie down YOU are doing it the real way without a web editor, not many people would admit that so just keep perservering as for web host i recommend http://www.freenetnames.co.uk not only do they not use adverts they are an isp and they will give u 20mb webspace and u can have your own domain name so your webspace if its available could be www.mossy.co.uk (http://www.mossy.co.uk) cool eh? :eek:

just checked your site again i reckon theres something wrong with your digger.gif image as according to the properties its -1byte in size so i recommend u redo the graphic and put it back on your webbie.
on non-nt machines file names have to be case sensitive for example if you have <img src"Dig.gif"> but the file is actually called dig.gif (lower case d) then the file wont be found.
Check this.
