Heheh, "technical difficulties" with the site (I accidentally deleted it when trying to update it - whoops!).
With any luck, it'll be up and running again on Monday (of course, the chances of any of you people actually looking at it are so slim that it's probably not worth me writing this. Oh well . . .)

the java applet at the first page and the main pages isnt right
it needs debugge (or IE5 has messed up again)
cool. maybe the buttons/links could be a little more obvious or brighter, but depends on how you want it to look i suppose. as a person who is studying media in college, i should point out that all or at least most attention should be drawn to the buttons seeing as there is no actual important information on main.html. apart from that i'd say its good, but that's just my opinion. media has unfortunatelly made me to think this way. ask me the same question 6 months ago and i would have given you a completelly different answer

Well if your completely different answer would have said the site was bad, I'm glad I didn't ask you six months earlier. :)
BTW, the java problem is nothing to do with me - the people I got the web space from (50megs) automatically put a banner on top of every page, and the error is in that. Unfortunately, it means there's nothing I can do to fix it. :mad:
And I may just make the buttons brighter.

BTW, I've moved the site - it's at http://www.paroxysm.f2s.com now. I'm having a bit of trouble getting the buttons to work though - it says they're not there, but they are. :mad:

Wotcha Psychoid. Had a look at the site - bit minimalist at the moment, but the animated gifs (I assume?) look good. It's very sombre - I think the blue links in with red text were doing something bad to my eyes! Ditto the visited link colour. I'm always umming and ahing over the colours for my own site, so I can't really talk... Feel free to have a look at mine and comment on it. It's just a little bit larger than yours ;-)

I've looked at the site and it's ok. I don't think you should use animated gifs. With so much flash around you should try that if you can. The buttons look a bit amateurish. Took me a while to get the right link but hadn't read the thread by then.

Naranek, like the site. I see what you mean when you say it's just a bit bigger than mine, but I only started mine 2 or 3 weeks ago. I'm still looking for ideas for other things to put on it - that's why I started this topic. Oh, and if you've got any suggestions for better colour schemes, feel free to let me know.
T!mo, I know what you mean about the buttons, but they were kinda rushed. I'll do better ones when I've got the time.
BTW, I do actually have a copy of Macromedia Flash 2, but I haven't really had the time to figure out how it works yet - that's why I use animated GIFs.
