You can try the DUN setup as shown on my webby.
Also - how much RAM do you have ? I notice you have a winmodem and they alledgedly work quite a bit better the more RAM your system has. On that subject, winmodems really are'nt that suitable for gaming as they use your CPU to handle some of the comms
and subsequently don't perform as well as a "proper" modem would. Lots more about this on my webby also.
