How to get BT to remove your DACS.........

SUCCESS!!!

Im finally getting the DACS removed! All I did was order Home Highway (any installation costs go on your first bill), which requires a full line to work. Of course BT are the most helpful people in the world when your giving them money, so 2 days after the survey was re-done (an administration error meant they got the wrong line checked in the first one) my DACS is actually being removed. Amazing....I spent 3 months trying to get these tw*ts to remove it, and they refuse, but as soon as 50 quid is waved under their noses they agree in 2 days. And Home Highway? I'm gonna cancel my order 10 minutes after the DACS is removed http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/tongue.gif

Well, the DACS has been removed today http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/tongue.gif Ive cancelled my HH order, no probl;ems and my DACS isnt coming back....YAY!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyone with a DACS take note, tho I couldnt possibly recommend taking BT for a ride, I had to cancel my HH order due to financial problems....Honest http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/tongue.gif

I`m a BT Engineer, its unfortunate that it BTs policy of not guarantee data speeds. I have a DACS on our line one and my dads business line, so I can have my second line for games. Shame his laptop has a crap connection, but we`d need to dig up the drive to have a bigger cable going into the house(and don`t expect BT to pay for that :)).
