does ne1 have an init string or any websites to help me?

I couldnt find any init strings for it there was all this stuff about stac compression etc etc.

Pls help m8

I presumed you wanted somewhere that would help you improve your ping rates when playing Quake2 ?

Therefore i suggested you configure your dial up networking connection as i show on my website.

An init string is (at best) an adjustment to a configuration. Get the configuration right in the first place and you probably won't need an init string.

STAC compression is extremely useful when connected to Wirpelay....and far more important than any init string.

Try it mate - you might be surprised (just follow the screen-by-screen config guide).

If you still have problems then post back here.

Thanks slimey m8 for all the replys. I am proud to say that I got my ping in q2 to an avergae of 120 now :)))
