Ive got a DACS unit :(

When i wanted a line for net use, i was told there wasn't sufficent line plant, cause i live out in the sticks.

So BT installed a DACS unit. I have been told this fu<ks my ping up. I get about a 170-300 ping playing counter-strike, and ive tweaked everything shown on lagless.com
but is there anything else i can do to lower my ping, or at least make it more satble ?

So what connection speed do you now get since the DACS was installed ? And is there no way that they could have DACS'd up a neighbour so that you still had at least 1 "proper" line left ???
