modem pause's

I'm haveing probs with my connection to the internet and when playing games online.
when i try to veiw web pages my modem seems to stall or somthing, same with playin games online.
I use wireplay direct for playing games and use bt internet/bt free for outher stuff, and all of them i suffer with this problem of my connection freezing.
i useally connect at 50000 but after reading slimes great webbie http://forums.gameplay.com/ubb/teeth.gif i've limited my connection to 46667 for better online gameing.

Now i've checked my modem log to see if there's anything there which might help to solve the problem and i'm getting alot of line's which say:

Interpreted response: Informative

And alot of other crap which i don't understand :)
I've never had this problem before and my connection has been good for ages
but now its gone tit's up :(
my modem is:
Rockwell Compatible Internal, V90,K56Flex,Voice,Speakerphone

Any idea's whats gone wrong or how to fix it would be much appreciated.

Hi,

Have you setup the DUN for Wireplay Direct differently than the DUN for BT ?

WPD supports softwrae compression, whereas BT does'nt. So...if you setup both the DUN's the same then one of them is'nt going to work very well.

Also - what backround tasks do you have running when you're on the web ?

Otherwise, can you post the complete modem log and i'll see if there's anything weird going on.

Right i had all the dun's set up ok, and i've shutdown all Unnecessary programs running in the background and i've tryed installing my modem back to the orriginal settings.
But still getting long modem pauses, here's my modem log(its from a quick game of counterstrike where i had to stop because of major lag spikes, and when i quit i tryed to bring up some web pages and there was no response from my modem)
