Right people I need your assistance:

I have a Gigabyte BX2000 motherboard a PIII 500 and 256Mb RAM

The problem is with my Creative 3D Blaster RIVA TNT2 Ultra card - it works fine with Direct 3D games like Superbike World Championship but when I play a gamw which uses Open GL like Half-Life I cannot run it above the resolution of 640*480 becuase if I do the game, and computer crashes.
I have tried all the latest drivers and the Nvidia reference drivers too but it still does it.

Is there a fix for this or should I go for another brand like the Diamond RIVA TNT2 Ultra?

Your help will be much apperciated http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif

Just thought I'd let you know I've fixed the problem by getting a new motherboard from my local computer store and all is fine now http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/smile.gif

It's a completely different motherboard made by Spacewalker - the bad thing is that Insight won't let me send the other back because I've had it more than 30 days and it has no 'fault' - except that it dowsn't work with TNT2 based cards http://www.wireplay.co.uk/ubb/frown.gif
