Any way I can make the calander from Outlook 2000 available on a web page AND make it so that it can be used through said page?
I thankyou.

AH ok,let me rephrase the quesion.
I want to save an outlook 2000 calander as web (read intranet) page. I thn want to be able to use this calander via said intranet. It will be running on an exchange server aswell....if that helps. If not then I may say "fackit" and use the dodgy microsoft mutliple calander viewer.
:)
You actually want it as an HTML page? Don't think you can do this (I don't know that for sure though so it might be worth looking on the MS Knowlege pool)
Even if you could export it as a web page, you'd need a program (CGI probably) which could edit it. You could try Microsoft Project. I think that would probably allow you to set up a calendar in that way. I know it can publish databases and the like to an intranet...
Not sure but I doubt it. You can set this sort of thing up if you're on a corporate network as you can assign delegates who have permission to look at and/or edit your calendar. As for doining it over the web... The exchange server would have to be open to the outside world. I'm no network dude but I would imagine that the security risks involved in allowing that sort of access would be a major issue. Besides, you'd need an exchange server in the first place which was permanantly connected to the web.
There are other on-line caledars you can use, both custom CGI stuff and pre set up services offered for free. Maybe one of those could help?

Outlook 2000 allows you to save your calander as html. But you can't really edit unless you write a script (I guess) You can also publish your free/busy time (obtained from calander) to a url. Maybe I could do something with that?
What's this MS Knowledge Pool?
Thanks
:)
Sorry, Knowledge Base. Its all sorts of problems and solutions and stuff for all MS products. You can find it here (http://search.support.microsoft.com/kb/c.asp?fr=0&SD=GN&LN=EN-US)
I didn't know you could output to HTML. Cool http://forums.gameplay.com/ubb/teeth.gif A script to edit it might be possible but it depends on the output. You see, a script could easily open the HTML file and edit it but it would be "blind". You'd need a helpful tag or something like
<-- Day 1 start -->
so it knew where to begin editing etc... Its an interesting idea actually because building an IntraNet for my work is on my list of things to do (and has been for some time...) If you do find a solution, let me know. If not, if I ever find one, I'll let you know. Deal? http://forums.gameplay.com/ubb/teeth.gif

LOL guess why I'm trying to do this. You got it, company intranet. But OH NO they can't use a normal calander, it has to be tied in with Outlook.
On a different note, do you know of anything like Newspro that allows users to upload files live .pdf?
Cheers
:)
There's a quite a few cgi uploaders. Try Here (http://cgi.resourceindex.com/Programs_and_Scripts/Perl/File_Management/File_Uploading/) but I'm not sure exactly how it would work on an intranet. I think you might need an FTP server. Still, probably worth a look.
