I've followed the info on the lagless site (halleluyah) and by limiting my connection speed can now even play QIII at last. The problem I have now is that the modem setup is used for all my connections, and I don't want to limit speed on the others (Freeserve, Eidos etc) as I use them for downloading. I don't really want to have to change the modem setup every time I connect to Wireplay either.

Is there any way at all of having one modem with different setups, and using the different setups with different connections, say by adding it again as another modem in control panel (Win95)?

Yes mate that is no problem. As lo9ng as you have done the configuration changes from your DUN connection and not directly through Modem.cpl

If you have changed settings via control panel undo them all. Go to Dial Up Networking and make a new connection use the details that are used for your default connection but name this DownloadDUN or something like that. Once you have cloned the default connection go to your original and reconfigure it as Slime suggests. You should now have 2 connections one with your gaming setup and one for general Internet use.
