Hi Guys,

Can anyone tell me how to do this as its got me in a bit of a state,

Right I have a URL, that ONLY links to a url, I cannot upload files to the location. Now on this page there is a bottom frame, is there any way I can link out of the frames whilst STILL keep the original address in the URL box ?

If you don't understand what Im talking about ask for more details but I think taht just about explains my problem.

Cheers, Hc

Do you mean you have a frameset file but you want to make a link in one of the frames to affect another frame. If so, each frame should be named in the frameset file. To link to another frame from within a frame add the following:

<a href="URL.html" target=framename></a>

No, right

There are 2 frames on the page. I did not make them or put them there its done by a redirection host. The main frame is untitled to my knowledge, and the bottom one is the same. Now the bottom frame is adverts, which I am trying to get rid of whilst keeping the same URL in the URL box on your browser. To do this I will need to use frames I think, or some javascript.

Anyway any ideas? Is it possible for a start? A friend tells me it was posted on here a while back..

I'm guessing your on namezero or something right?
sorry can't think of a way to link out and keep the address the same
your best off just forwarding it out of the frames

There is a little bit of java script that will "bust" the frames. You place it in your home page and it removes the frames.
