Ive used your DUN guide at the days of pings from 220+ are long gone and i now enjoy pings of 130-200.But i was wondering if a new modem could help me just a little more.
I have a US Robotics 56k voice fax modem at the mo.is there anything better and what about this gaming modem thing.

USR's aree good mate when properly setup, and your sounds as though it's working well now.
I doubt any new modem would substantially improve upon what you already have.

The gaming modem is'nt available in the UK yet. There is another thread on this board with loads of US reviews of it, if you are interested.
