I'm curious as to what your pings are like in games such as tfc, unreal tournament, quake 3 etc compared to wireplay direct.

My line is of good quality and I dial up to Bristol which is one of the best servers imo but i believe that maybe i should be getting better pings than the 250+ i get in tfc

Hi, well i get ping s of over 500 on UT.
Yes i use cableinet, but with a modio modem (only 8 months old). And i also dial into Bristol.
R u actully in Bristol? the best dial up to bristol that i get is 33600ks.
Better if u use wp dial up (40000ks+)
but still pants pings.

i use cable n diamond n i get pings of 160-200
but i also use the autoexec config to disable quite a few options

i use CableiNet and an external 56k modem and i get pings of..

Kingpin - 170 to 300
Counter Strike - 180-400

Seems to be getting better but still getting shed loads of packet loss :(

HI i use a Diamond Supra express 56 e Pro and getpings of 140 - 190 in UT and around 230 in halflife.

I find that surf unlimmited is similar to what wireplay direct was a few months ago.

I get connection speeds of 50667 or 52000 all the time.

looking forward to the new telewest cable modems though!
