I'm havin problems everytime I try to connect to open play it doesn't with my default internet connection and I can't damn connect I have tried reinstalling my modem drivers etc even restarting my comp. So i decided to install 2.20 back I could connect to rapid play channel but not games world the wierd thing is though I have managed to connect to gamesworld in the past but not now. I have even formated my drive and tried again and v2.30 and 2.20 don't work and its is becoming annoying as I am resorting to gamespy to play half-life and tribes. SOME1 HELP!

2.2 is NOT compatible with the new system, which is why we forced everyone to upgrade rather than leaving it up to the individual to decide. You'll have to continue trying with 2.3.

In fact 2.3 just uses a standard DUN connection to connect to OpenPlay (the DUN entry Wireplay Direct). Try seeing if this connection will connect okay first (without using the client)- if it does, then the client is trying to connect using something other than Wireplay Direct. Trying changing the connection method in the 'Connection Settings' menu of the 2.3 client. If all elese fails try the helpdesk or give us more details here.
